Our 2 1/2 year old loves puzzles and make believe so we though this would be great but he hasn't showed any interest in lacing these car beads onto a string.

My 2.5-yr-old LOVES it! He pretends to make a "train" by stringing all of the vehicles and drags it everywhere. The extra-long tip is great for little hands that get frustrated easily.

My 14 month old loves this toy. She will drag it around the house constantly and doesn't seem to get bored with it. We are working on stringing the pieces and this keeps her attention for a while as well. Because she is dragging the pieces around on the string constantly, the pieces are waring quickly but it is not a big deal. I would highly recommend to other parents.

We got the beep set for our son's first birthday. He's now 19 months old and still enjoys playing with this toy. He uses it as a lacing toy, but he also enjoys playing with the cars individually. He stacks them as blocks and identifies them by color and car type. He also "drives" them around. Well worth the price.

My 1 1/2 yr enjoys this toy and is able to string the shapes. I bought this as a traveling toy and it works out great. We keep it in her little backpack. It's great for the car, plane and church too! The only downfall is that the paint is starting to chip ( I also read that in a review before purchasing it). That is a little disappointing - but again it is a great toy to take on the road!

My 2 year old daughter got this for Christmas- she likes it fairly well, but doesn't play with it all the time. I'm a little disappointed that even the limited playtime it's had, that the paint is chipping off from all around the edges. It's a nice toy, but I don't think we'd get it again.

I bought this for my almost three year old but my one year old loves it too. The blocks are chunky enough that I don't have to worry about a choking hazard. The lacing blocks are the perfect size for her hands and she can do it all by herself. The only thing I don't like is how they're beginning to chip already.

I got this for my Down syndrome grandchild, and both her Occupational Therapist and Speech Therapist also ordered one. Unfortunately after just a little light play, the paint began chipping on the edges. The therapists are going to add a layer of polyurethane before they use them... I hope that helps. The colors are bright and the pieces are easy to thread... I really wish it was more durable!

I purchased 2 sets, one for my daughter (18 m/o)and one for my niece (22 m/o). It is very cute! I have to show my daughter how to do it, but she is getting the idea... she also likes to make the animal sounds, so she is not only learning motor skills, but also learning animals....

My 3yr boy enjoyed it for the first few minutes but lost interest after all the pieces were strung on. He is a very active child and has a hard time sitting. I would recommend this to a more patient child.
