We finally found a teether designed for back teeth! While others are too big for tiny mouths, this little wonder reaches swollen rear gums. Its chewy nubs provide soothing relief, and the "pacifier" shield prevents over-insertion. The only teether for emerging molars! FDA-approved materials. Read More

Comments about Kid Gear The Teethifierââ¢:
The idea and design behind this teether is fabulous. My son has never needed a pacifier or teether, so he really doesn't use this item very often. I would recommend this product to parents who have children that are teething and are accustomed to a pacifier.
This teether is just right... not too hard, not too soft, and the nubs give it added texture. All I had to do was add a few rings so I can clip it to his pants/stroller/carseat (we take it EVERYWHERE!!!!) and we're set. I LOVE this teether!
i wish it was a little smaller for our 9 mon old mouth
My son hates it. It is so hard and hurts him to use it for teething. If it was a little softer it would be great.
My duaghter ususally ends up chewing on the ring part, not the part with the nubs on them. She isn't getting back teeth yet so maybe she will use it more later. I just throw it in the sink with her dishes so it's easy to clean.
We bought two of these for our twins. I was apprehensive after reading some of the reviews, but decided to try it anyway, because they were having such troubles with their back teeth. They each tried it once and couldn't get the "y" part into their mouths. They played with them in the carseats, but not as teethers. We still haven't found anything that works well for back teeth - but I'd suggest you keep looking, this isn't it.

My son LOVES these teethers. They're easy to grasp and they seem to help ease his pain. Great purchase!
I thought this would be great for my son--he loves pacifiers and is teething like crazy in the back. Alas, he wants little to do with it. He thinks it is a pacifier, and gets "insulted" when he puts it in his mouth and it does not work the same way. It's part of our "toy" collection, and I'm hoping maybe someday he'll just pick it up and give it another try on his own. I had such high hopes....but I hope it works for others!
My son never took to it - but if your child does I think it would be a good product.
My son never once wanted to use this pacifier.
the product itself is fine (quality), but my daughter didn't really like or use it. i also felt it was a bit overpriced..[$]. not sure if it's worth a try or not since so far it hasn't been well recieved but we'll keep it on hand for her 2 year molars.

I wish I had this for my older son. He would get two teeth in at a time. Once they popped up the other two would start coming in. When it came time for his molars..poor kid he had the hardest time. I was looking for a teether that he could use that would get in the back of his mouth but at the time there was nothing that worked. So when I came across this when I was pregers with my baby girl I got two of them. One for my purse and one to keep in the house. She loves it. She has been using it since she truned 7 months. She doesn't have any back teeth yet, but she loves playing with it and biting it.
I thought this might help with my daughters teething but unfortunately she just didn't like it. She'd chew on it for a couple seconds and that was about it. It's a great idea but just didn't work for us.
We bought this for our 23 month and 11 month old. The 11 month old took to it much better although it is a bit large for her mouth. It is best to get this for your child as soon as they start teething so as to get used to it and understand its purpose. Be careful if your children have reflux as both of ours do. There is a gag reflex issue, hence why it is important to buy this for your children as early as possible so the gag reflex is not an issue.
My 5 month old started teething and got her molars first. She wasn't able to get any of the teethers we bought to the back of her mouth to chew on, because her mouth is still so small. This was pretty good - she can get it back there and doesn't choke herself! But, even this was pretty large for her at first... a little gagging the first time she put in her mouth. But, she is getting her molars pretty early. Now at 6 months, she can pretty much gnaw on it effectively and its still the only thing that she can get back there safely. I'd reccomend it.
