I was WAY excited to get this for my son, took a while to decide because of the cost, but went for it. It was the first thing I pulled out of the box and was looking forward to putting him on it right away! I couldn't, for the life of me, figure out all the pieces and after my hubby and I spending an HOUR trying to get it together, we finally gave up. We were very flustered, but did try again a few days later, and again a few days after that. I think I may have rigged it slightly, so we put our son on it, and he didn't really seem to care much. Tried again a few days later, same frusteration, same reaction. TOTALLY bummed, because it was quite a bit of $... not sure if I can return it because I'm not sure if we saved the bag... If you do choose to purchase this, just know, it is NOT in one or even two peices... it comes in many that have to be put together precicely or else the velcro on the bottom catches the carpet or velcro on the top scratches the baby...

Great mat - a little difficult to re-assemble after a washing. Unique, and a great developmental toy. Lots of velcro and is a bit of a puzzle to put together.

Tummy time for my son was not something to look forward to. With the support of the wedge, he didn't seem to be as fussy. (He suffers from colic) Within about 2 wks., he was holding his head up very well. Much earlier than my other son. Something so simple (not lying directly on the hard floor), has seemed to help his irritablity. Thanks Tummy Zone!

I have a child with special needs who needs extra support and hated tummy time. This product has been a God send. One tip if you need to launder it make sure you keep the directions. When I received the item it is actually already put together. However I had thrown out the directions and it took me some time putting it back together.

He's just 1 month old and he gets very frustrated on it. He's slowly using it more, but in 2 months it'll be just fine. I recommend this product for 2 months and up. Looks great, feels great, very durable and nice.

Started using when he was 3 months old. Incline to steep, he rolls off the sides, and does not like creature except the mirror, very difficult to assemble. Good for stengething his legs. I have taken it apart and use the leg portion for anytime he is laying down on his back playing. Also the incline works to lay it against you and then put him on his back against it to play sitting up. Could use each piece separtaly in other ways.

Our baby wasn't always enjoying tummy time. Bought this and really changed how much he liked it. Enthralled with the bow tie and the arms, could "crinkle" them for hours. Does require acute supervision though, this one is easy for baby to fall off to the side so don't walk away when baby is playing on it.

My son used this product from about 6 weeks old. He was definitely not able to roll over yet, but the toy is so narrow that he could easily lean to the side and roll right off of it. I was always having to sit next to him and hold him on the toy.

I have a 5 mth old and he kept falling off the edge. This would be dangerous if not on a soft carpet for the fall. It might work for younger babies that don't move at all. But I thought the purpose was to get them to raise thier head.

For being developed by a doctor it thoroughly lacked detailed instruction and practicality. It is just a ton of cloth with velcro EVERYWHERE. The wedge is so steep our 4 month old kept rolling off sideways. It is now sitting in the corner of our living room collecting dust, what a waste of money! By the time I figure out how it is supposed to work she'll be walking.

My son is not the biggest fan of tummy time so when I saw this mat I thought he might have a better chance at enjoying himself. The first time I put him on the mat his eyes lit up and he really seamed to have a good time. The mirror held his attention and the angle of the pillow really helped him prop himself up. He still doesn't absolutely love tummy time but this mat really helps with his muscle development. I'm really glad we found it!
