Upon receiving and inspecting the Beach tent it had holes in it. So we exchanged it. When we recieved the second tent and tried it out we loved it. It took some practice to learn how to put it away but once you got the hang of it- it worked great...until you use it more than once. We took it to Florida for vacation and on the second day it refused to close up. It was warped. SO after trying for 20min we had to CARRY it back to our hotel along with 3 kids and the rest of our beach stuff. The second day we carried it to the beach again and used it and got it folded somewhat but it wouldn't go back into the case. By the third day the dome was frayed and it was falling apart. We quit using it for the rest of the vacation and returned it once we got home. The idea is great but poor quality/construction. Don't waste your money.

This was a lifesaver at the beach this year. Our son was only 2 months old when we went to the beach. He slept in the tent every beach day and it made it so easy to nurse him right there on the beach. It is large and I was able to lay down with him in it. It was difficult to put back together while on the beach but I was able to do it after watching the video (which is a must!!) I absolutely love this tent and would buy it again and again!

A couple summers ago I noticed a few families with this compact cabana tent. I already own a much larger, much heavier tent with the same type of easy-fold construction. I decided to get the OneStepAhead version and I'm much happier with the compact and lighter design.
I am purchasing a second one as a gift for a friend in CA who is having a baby soon and I know will use it all year round. Great buy!

This cabana worked well for us on the beach while we were on vacation in Hawaii. It did get a little hot inside, but opening the doors and window flaps helped. It was hard to keep it tacked down when the wind picked up, but that was our only con. Great sun shade for the kids and grandparents!

We go the beach once a year and after baby came needed to add a cabana to the list of supplies needed. This cabana tent was perfect! It's not bulky, does not take up a lot of room, easy to set up and baby was able to play in the sand with Daddy for hours and be protected from the sun (with the help of spf too!).
The only con is I have trouble folding it back up, Daddy has no issues with that part--also after we got back from the beach it is still being used as a little getaway for our toddler. She loves to play in it!

We go to a lake often and this is perfect for the beach. Easy to deal with, unfolds and folds up nicely. Great shade, plenty of room for myself, baby, and husband. Even in wind it stays in place if you use the stakes. At home we leave it open and our 20-month old son loves to play in it like a fort. He insists we put his crib mattress inside and it fits easily.

We bought the cabana to take to our trip to Jamaica and it was worth every penny! It even kept us dry when we were caught up in a heavy rainstorm one day at the beach! The only thing that I have to say is, the strap just fell apart and we thought the shell could have been a little larger...but overall a great product that we definitely recommend!

We have a much older version of this same cabana and we absolutely love it. I have recently been planting the seeds with family members to buy us this new and improved version for Christmas! This cabana (really almost a tent) is lightweight and very easy to carry with the backpack. That is important to us because we spend a lot of time at the beach during the summer and at the park in spring and fall -- and we need to transport two small children and their gear. We also use it for backyard bar-b-ques so the kids have a shady place to play. The only things I would change about the product we own are the changes that OSA has already made in this newer version of it. I love the sun protection, it is great for naps, (and ours only has closeable flaps on the back-- even better with flaps on both sides)and it gives the kids a space to play and keep their toys out off of the ground if you just put a blanket down. We had another tent/cabana prior to this one and this has been so much better. Ours was handed down from a neighbor about 3 years ago and it was pretty used at that time as it had been handed down to them. Not sure how old it is, but it is still in perfect condition after several years of heavy use. Finally, one person can set it up easily. I highly reccommend this product,epecially for families who spend a lot of time outdoors.

I bought the original version of this tent ten years ago. Mine does not have windows, or a flag, and one side is open while the other zips. Changes were most likely made from parent input and I think they are fantastic. But I am still 110% happy with my original model. I just used it again yesterday with the grandparents at the beach. They were amazed!

I've used it since my son was an infant to protect him from the sun and cold weather when we visited the beach when we lived up North.

After all these years of travel and day trips(we always have it ready in the back of the SUV) it is still in perfect condition.

The ONLY challenge is the twisting to get it back into the shape for the carrier. It is always good for a few laughs and isn't a big deal.

And the kids always love the POP into shape it makes when we take it out.

I recommend it to any and all parents!

We just came home from the beach. The beach cabana was perfect for my 6 month old granddaughter. We could stay on the beach all day and not worry about the baby getting to much sun. Plenty of room for my 2 year old granddaughter to play in also. We had 1 windy day and we put sand in the pockets otherwise we just used the stakes. We found on really hot days, it was pretty hot in the tent, but on breezy days it was perfect. I recommend watching the video on how to pack this up. It takes practice and you really need 2 people.
This is a great buy not only for the beach but playing in the backyard.

This tent was a gift and we LOVE LOVE LOVE it. We live by the beach so its so easy to just load up the kids grab the tent and go. We can spend the entire day at the beach and not have to worry about our baby getting to much sun.

This tent is awesome - my toddler loves using it in our backyard and will continue to use it as her imagination grows, I'm sure. We packed it with us to Hawaii and used it on the beach ... it's so lightweight and compact that I envision this thing going with us for many summer afternoons in the park for years to come. Would be great to sit in a short beach chair and breastfeed out of sight.

we bought this cabana b/c we needed some cover for the kids at the beach. the picture makes it appear larger than it actually is, and it was very difficult to pack up. it took at least 10 times to figure out how & it definately takes 2 people. i feel like it is a good product, but definately not worth the [$] that we paid. For &[$] it should have been roomier.

This is one of my favorite/most used summer items! It is great when visiting the Grandparents at the pool where they don't have any shade and at the beach. It is so compact when it folds up I take it anywhere I can that the kids, or us adults, need shade. Sooo much better than an umbrella!!!
