Hide-Away Extra Long Bed Rail

The bedrail assembles easily and directions are easy to follow. Had it installed in less than 10 minutes. Bedrail grips bed securely and does not move. It does fold and slide away however, our child now just gets in and out at the foot of the bed. I would purchase again.

We got this to use on our guest bed for our grandaughter when she comes over. She was just 2 yr. old when we first got it; she's 27 months now and we haven't had the first problem. We do make a couple of arrangements, though. We pull our packnplay across the end of the bed and stack extra pillows between it and the spaces between the rails and the packnplay. Then when we pull the bedspread back, it anchors everything. It didn't take long at all for her to get used to the set up. I would recommend it to anyone. (We got a rail for each side.)

My son has used this on his "big boy bed" since he was a little over 2 and has never fallen out! He sleeps in a queen size bed which is pushed up against the wall, so with this rail on the other side there is nowhere to fall out. I would definitely recommend this product!

Requires extra space beside bed to fold under mattress. Makes sleeping on it uncomfortable.

We did not like this bed rail because it was too difficult to lower, was noisy, & when we put it up it woke up our child.

Bought this rail to use on the bottom bunk bed for my toddler. He loves the rail and it is practically like being in a crib, but it was not easy to assemble and it does not fold down easily.

This is a great product but the assembly is a little difficult and it does come with a lot of rules and conditions. If you are planning on using a box and mattress you shouldn't have any problems.

Great product. It was easy to put together until the end. The instructions and pictures could be clearer. The great thing about this product is that it disappears under the mattress easily when not in use, you don't have to take it apart each time.

We bought this product recently for our 2 1/2 year old daughter. She switched to a twin bed from a crib and we were nervous she would fall out of her big girl bed. This bed rail is so long and makes her feel very secure. She was leaning against it last night (with her father on the other side--he was testing its strength) and it held strong. My husband said it was easy to assemble as long as you followed the instructions. It is also easy to slide under the bed for when changing sheets. We have taught our daughter to get out of bed from the foot of her bed. She loves her big girl bed now!

We bought this bed rail and an additional side rail when we moved our 18-month-old daughter into a regular bed from her crib. My sister-in-law has the same set-up for her 2-year-old son and we both love them. I have no concerns about her falling out of bed regardless of how hard she "smushes" herself against the rail and even when she does that she looks cozy. My box did not come with any instructions - I'm sure I could have gotten some from customer service, but wanted to get it up right away. Fortunately I had seen and used my SIL's, so I knew the basic idea and was able to get it together fine. We haven't taken the rail down more than a couple of times - the pins are a little hard to use as you really have to jimmy with them to pull them out, so that could get annoying if you were wanting to do that daily. Overall though, I'm very pleased with the purchase and would recommend the rail to others.

This product is wonderful but needs a few more improvements. Don't get me wrong I would buy it again but think the latches need to be improved so they don't unlatch and make the hiding hard. They also need to place some kind of rubber padding under the hide away slots as they dig into the spring matress on my daughters bed and started to rip it. I put a towel down witch seems to fix the problem but isn't as pretty! Does a great job at keeping th girls in though.

it's a little bit of a challenged when my husband was assembling it. the diagrams are small. it's ok for a full size bed,just like my daughter's bed. i just wish the rail is a little bit higher though. but maybe it depends on the thickness of your child's bed. the rail doesn't move away from the bed unlike other bed rails.

Able to collapse when not in use - very secure when up

I am using this bed rail for my child with special needs. She has limited mobility, but if given the opportunity might fall on the floor. So, this rail is keeping her in her bed now that she is too big for her crib.

We owned a version that was about 4 years old and didn't have the hide-away feature. It was great, except my son tore holes in the netting. I really like the hide-away feature and the new straps to secure it to the other side of the mattress. I would recommend it to my friends.
