My two year old really likes this shelf. Only cons are the monogramming is iron/press on looking so cheapens the look a bit and the slings for the books could be a little deeper for larger books. Overall is a great find for toddler parents as a regular bookshelf poses too much of a hazard for climbing on or tipping over.

Extremely easy to assemble and looks so nice and neat. This made a huge difference in our playroom. Now our books are nicely organized and the two boxes at the bottom are great places for colors and markers, etc.

My 1 year old daughter loves this bookshelf! It's very easy for her to get all the books out and has easy access to the bins. She thinks she's a big girl getting all the stuff herself, and I don't have to worry about sharp edges. The personalization is cute too. I loved it so much, I also purchased the same for my nephew, who is the same age.

This is the same bookshelf they have in my 3 yr old daughters Montessori classroom. The books are all so easily accessible to her and it fits a lot of books. Beware of other bookshelves like this and COMPARE measurements. I found others that were cheaper but when I compared, they were actually smaller. I highly recommend this and have it set up in her room but want to buy another for our family room. It's even great for my 7 and 5 year old.

Our family are all readers and I want to do all I can to encourage my grandchildren to follow on in that tradition.

I purchased this as a gift for my first grandchild after looking over many products and reading many reviews. This one was by far the best! Regular bookshelves make it hard for children to see the book covers and pull out books. With this shelf, the books are easily visible and children can "serve themselves" with no trouble. Besides the sturdy construction, I also like that this shelf also provides drawers underneath. My daughter keeps this in their living room and, even at barely over a year old, my grand-daughter would place books back on the shelf when she was through with them and also pick up her other toys and put them in the drawers.

This has been used for about a year now and is still in as good a shape as when first put together. Now 2 years old, my grand-daughter already has several books memorized and loves "reading" to herself or family members. I plan to make sure that all my future grandchildren have one of these in their homes!

Fits a ton of books(over 50), my 20 month old can pick, choose and replace her books from all shelves. Easy to assemble, wish it was made in the USA but we needed something quick and it was a good price for what we got. Sturdy too, and I am all about safety! Too bad it doesnt come in other colors, we may have to paint it. LOVE the shelves in the bottom, they are easy for her to pull out and get stuff out of and they hold a bunch of stuff as well.
