This is a very fun and intelligent toys. Super easy to use and carry. My son (2 and 1/2) plays with it every day. The marks doesn't get anywhere in the house because it's just water. The only thing is the water dries really fast, sometimes in the middle of a drawing. And the board, it you get other things like juice, oil on it, then it's all over.

We bought this product in preparation for a 12-hour car ride. We had received an Aquadoodle mat at Christmas and were interested in a "hard" version that would work in the car. Our daughter is almost 2 and loves to draw, but the thought of crayons or markers on a long car ride didn't sound good. This worked well. Given the age of our daughter, this is a little big and I had to help her hold it, but all-in-all, it worked wonderfully.

This is a great, portable and safe toy for my son who has just become fascinated with pens. He can suck on the water pens, with no worries about ink or drawing on himself. My daughter is 18 months and loves to suck the water out of the pens. She really can't write on the board yet, but she likes it anyway. My husband and I draw pictures and ask our daughter to point to eyes and ears on our pictures. This toy also travels well since the pens snap into place and only contain water.

We've had this now for a couple of weeks and, while our 18 month old does enjoy it, I'd like to share the following:
One reviewer liked that the pictures fade more quickly than other similar toys, but we find they fade TOO quickly. Our son loves trucks and cars, and is always asking me to draw them, but I can't finish them before the first part disappears! And I draw pretty quickly. Also, it's nice that there are more than one pen, but these are so small, and hold so little water, that I am constantly refilling them. Each fill might do 3-4 pictures tops. Lastly, if you do buy this, be aware that the surface stains very easily. Our little guy got just a little bit of cheese or something on it, and now there are permanent grease stains that I can't get off.

I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA HAVING WATER IN THE MARKERS. THE CHILDREN CAN'T WRITE ALL OVER THE WALLS OR FURNITURE. HOWEVER, MY CHILD (ONLY 15 MONTHS) LEARNED HOW TO TWIST THEM OPEN ONLY AFTER 2 DAYS! HE PUTS THEM IN HIS MOUTH WHICH IS DANGEROUS IF HE FALLS. THE MARKERS SHOULD BE ATTACHED TO THE ACTUAL BOARD BECAUSE THEY GET MISPLACED QUITE EASILY. WE ARE ALREADY MISSING ONE AND WE HAD THIS PRODUCT FOR ONLY A FEW DAYS.
