I have used many bottles over the years. As I have always breastfed my babies I was looking for a bottle that allows me to easily swith between the two without creating confusion. This one doesn't seem to interfer at all. Also as there are pacifiers that are designed the same baby can adjust to one nipple type. I actually stopped using all of the other bottles I had initially bought and always reach for these. Also baby seems to get less air in his tummy with this bottle.

I breastfeed my 2 month old. When he was 3 weeks old I introduced the Soothie bottle to him and he took it right away. He won't take any other kind of nipple. I bought the smaller soothie nipples to put on all my other bottles too. Works great!

These are the only bottles (nipples) that my newborn took right away. With the other bottles we had to continually coax her to eat. I had purchased two other brands that she didn't like. We got the Soothie in the mail with some other free samples and out of desperation our first night home I tried it. Love it.
