This product absolutely does not work. My 15 month old grandson has no problem depressing this gadget and opening every door we put it on. In less than 5 seconds he has the door opened. I wish there were a better product. Several years ago there was a similar design that really prevented the turning of the door knob.

I have these on all the doors in my house I don't want my 2 year old opening. So far he hasn't figured them out. Occasionally if they are bumped the right way they will fall off, but they are easy to put back on.

They are to big for our door knobs. I even tried them on our larger size door knobs and no such luck these will be going back. I wish they made two sizes small and large

My grandson is a three year old, high functioning, autistic child. Living on a main highway, and in a rural community, his ability to open a door to explore the outdoors, even in a heartbeat, could be fatal. This product, has eliminated that risk and brought peace of mind to myself and his parents. I have purchased two sets and could not be happier with them.

i have one of these on ever door in my house. i have tried others but this seem to be the only one my son cant open and we can with out hurting our own hands.. they are a little hard to get on and off. we also found that they would n ot fit our our side door handles. they seem to be a bit bigger than the indoor (bedroom/bathroom) handles.. but we love these

I honestly don't know what I would do without these. We have them on the front door to prevent our toddler from going outside, on our basement door to prevent him from falling down the stairs, on our older daughters doors to prevent our toddler from getting into makeup, hot curling iron, etc. and on our bathroom doors to prevent messes and/or accidents. They are very inexpensive and so useful!

We put these on the bedroom doors, because our 19month old figured out how to open door knobs. In about 2 days she figured how to rotate these so one of the rubber pads is up, and then pulls down on the pad to rotate and open the door knob.

We have this knob cover in the white version, but it's exactly the same otherwise. I love how easy it is to use for adults & my 4year old daughter. It keeps my boys where I want them! It is also VERY easy to install. We have ued these in 2 houses, and I only have 2 things I don't like. In our last house, the back door doorknob was smaller than a standard knob, so it did not fit. We just had to keep it deadbolted all the time. Not too inconvenient though. The other is that once they have been used for a while on a heavily used door, you might want to replace it. The pad that grips the knob inside gets worn down after a while, making it more difficult to use. One of my almost 2 year old sons did figure out how to take it off, but has only done it once & not since, my other kids though either have not yet figured it out, or never did. I love it enough that I'm buying some more.
