I got this as a gift, and I have to say, I don't understand the point of this product. If you want to carry your baby hands-free, why not just use a sling, wrap, or other baby-carrier? Why lug around the extra weight of the car-seat? Why not pick your baby up? Besides -- this positions the weight too low on your body for proper carrying, anyway. Instead of bumping your leg, you get bumped in the gut with every step.

It was bulky and uncomfortable. The velcro was not a good idea. Using a baby slip or wrap was a much better use for me. It doesn't make sense to lug the extra weight of the car seat around when I can just wear my baby. And the extra skin contact is worth the baby sling.

This product is amazing! I saw something like it and seached everywhere for one before I had my second child. Everywhere I go people ask about it. I have given out a bunch as shower / baby gifts, and they have been complimented by all. I cannot imagine having walked my preschooler, infant, and all their stuff around every day without it! It adjusts for my size and my husband's, and for either side, was easy to clean after I dropped it in the ocean, and kept me from feeling any weight on my back or shoulders. To install it, I cut the velcro pieces around the car seat stickers so no important information would be covered up. This is a great baby item - I highly recommend it!

I use this everyday for my daughter, its great because i was having problems with carrying the car seat with one arm. I wouldn't use it for a really long time, but carrying her from the car to the store, or to the doctors office, it is so great. Saves me time and I don't need to get the bulky stroller if I don't need it. I would purchase this again.

This product is fantastic. I thank all those that reviewed it before me as I could not imagine that it would be as comfortable as you were all saying but I went with your endorsements and it is. I have scars on my shoulders yet it does not irritate them so long as I am not carrying the car seat too far. Everyone who sees me stops me and I cannot say enough about it. Thanks to the inventor and OSA for making it available. I am 5ft 4 in and it works great. It can be awkward getting in and out of narrow doorways but what can be more awkward than the conventional way of carrying an infant carseat?!!

I used this strap when taking my daughter to school, Dr. visits, and short trips here and there. It was great because both of my hands were free. It did hurt my back after awhile. I would use it again if I had another child.

I didn't have any difficulty installing the strap to my seat (although I didn't realize I'd have to permanently attach velcro strips to it). I have a Graco SafeSeat which features a dial to show if the seat is reclined at the proper angle in the car, which I had to work around when attaching the velcro. The seat fits comfortably over my shoulders; however, if you're tall you may find that the carry strap isn't long enough. I am 5'8" and I have the strap all the way extended & it's just long enough for me. Otherwise, I think that this product will work out just fine & I'm really glad I found it since my first daughter is only 19 months & still needs a hand to hold on to.

I was so excited about this product for our 3rd child! I am a petite Mom and carrying the infant carseat has always been a hassle. I wish the product DESCRIPTION had explained that you have to stick adhesive pads of velcro to your car seat!! I am very fussy about our baby gear and this did not at all appeal to me. Also, if you don't put the pads in JUST the right place, you have a not-so-secure fit to contend with. Great concept, but buyer beware.

I didn't want to always lug a stroller up and down the stairs so this was a perfect choice. Snap baby into the carseat and lift him up with these straps. We're ready to go! This is especially handy since he's not a big fan of his carseat. It does put pressure on my left side (neck/traps) but is still considered very handy for short trips. I would NOT use it for going shopping unless you're using a shopping cart!!! I would use it from doorstep to car/cart.

Wasn't sure about this, but does it work! I get a lot of "where did you get that" from the mothers at school. Easy to install and the velcro is stong and has never slipped.

I'm 5'8" and a size 12, so the strap doesn't bother me at all.

I wish I had come across this months ago. I had reached the point when my daughter was 4 1/2 months old that we'd have to use the stroller to get her around because she was so heavy in the car seat. This is a lifesaver. After awhile, it will start to put a strain on your neck, but it is by far better than using the handle - my fingers used to go numb! It takes some thought to get the velcro in the right spots, but once it's on, you're set. No problems using a stroller or car seat base with the strap still attached.

I had high hopes for this item when I purchased it. Unfortunately it failed miserably! It was difficult to line all of the straps up and get the velcro into position on the carseat. I used it exactly once, due to the pain it caused in my back and shoulder!

It's very helpful so I can have my hands free and good for my balance or my back also. I use it to carry the car seat in and out but not for long walking though. I still think that it's the good idea to have it.

I'm a whopping 5 foot nothing and this is the best invention. I have to take a flight of stairs down to get to the garage and this allows me to hold onto the hand rails and allow me to carry the baby bag on my shoulder. I'm always stopped and asked where I got it. Bottom line is no matter how strong you are, carrying a rear facing carseat is not normal posture. You have to have shoulders of steel and extrawide to carry it and walk normal. This is a back saving safety gear for both the carrier and the baby!!!!
