Comments about One Step Ahead Li'l Squirt Baby Pool:
I bought one of these a year or 2 ago and one of the seams popped after two gentle uses. Customer Service quickly replaced it at that time. The second one they sent I stored deep our closet and we just pulled it new out of the box this summer for our youngest. When we hooked it up, the plastic connector (to screw the hose onto) leaked between the pool and the connector. It wasn't a hose issue at all. Again, it was so quick and easy to get our money refunded from One Step Ahead, but the product is worthless. I'd say high high marks for customer service at One Step Ahead, but no marks for the pool.
We used this for 10 minutes and then it broke. The kids were so disappointed. It is very flimsy and I would not recommend it to anyone. The company however, is great. [...] and then issued me a full refund. This made me a happy customer to know that One Step Ahead stands by their customer satisfaction. Therefore, I will remain a loyal customer.
We used this for my sons 1st b-day party. We had kids from ages 1-8 at the party and all of them enjoyed it. The younger ones sat in it and played while the older ones ran through it like sprinklers. The only neg. aspect was that it must be on a fully flat surface or the water pools to one side.
I bought this when my little girl was 6m old and she loved it, she was 18m this summer and still had a blast in it, the older she has gotten the higher I was able to turn the hose up, when she was 6m I barely turned the hose on so the sprinkler would not go over her head.
Great way for little ones to get wet and play with water instead of being in a big pool. The only thing use this w/ lower water pressure. Med. to high will bust the pad at the seams!![...]
we love this sprinkler pool. it is lots of fun and my 18 month old really enjoys it. i did have a little problem with the valve leaking water after only a few uses, but i called and they kindly replaced it right away and assured me this was not a common problem.
Lots of fun for my 16 month old! Held up great until my husband and some bigger kids got too rough running through it and tore. I actually purchased a replacement. It conveniently allows you to adjust height of water with pressure. Simple and fun alternative to sprinklers
This pool is very colorful and easy to use. When using for the first time be sure to let the tubes in the pool fill up all the way before placing your child in. If you don't do this the height of the sprinklers could scare your child as it did mine. I had to turn the hose WAY down to convince him to get in.
My 18 month old loves this pool. Actually the neighborhood toddlers all love it! Sadly, after only 4 uses, one of the seems gave out. I never had the water on very high, as my daughter didn't like that. However, OneStep was great about replacing the product.

This is a great toy because the toddler can walk in and out of it unassisted. You can change the height of the sprinklers so they are shorter or taller than your toddler by adjusting the water power. You can turn off the sprinklers and the toddler can enjoy playing in the puddle. My first one broke -- on its own from a defect but ONA told me the defect was fixed and sent me a new one.
I had this pool for less than a week when it broke. I was filling it up with the hose and all of the sudden one if the sides ripped, not allowing water to fill it. I also thought that this pool would hold more water than it actually did. I ended up getting a regular blow up kiddy pool with no water spouts or other accessories after this one broke.
I wanted to get my daughter a pool, but was worried about her slipping around in a bigger, deeper pool with sides. This little pool only lets and couple of inches of water (still have to watch you baby though) and has raised and lowered areas that make slipping a little less. We turn the water down real low, so there is only small fountains (about 2-3 inches high) and give her some floating toys and we have so much fun.
my son had lots of fun!
The "Li'l Squirt Baby Pool" was easy to set up. LO (13 months) had a good time sitting and crawling in the pool. She loved the little "fountains" and tried to grab them. I would definitely recommend this product as it doesn't require much room, is fast to set up, and fast to take back down.
My child loved this product. It is perfect for little ones that are a bit apprehensive about getting into water. He loved how the water squirted up from the pool. The problem is that it is not very durable. We used the pool three times. The third time it popped. We had the water pressure turned up and my niece jumped on it. It popped a big whole in the side. The whole is to big to mend. I would recommend this product, but be aware it is not made to withstand any type of rough house play.
