I saw this in the magazine when I had my daughter 4 years ago, and thought wow what a great idea, but I never bought one. When I had my son last year it was a must. I thought it was a little pricey at first, but when it came in the mail I realized I was wrong. The stitching is heavy duty and it is well made, my son loves it and so does my back.

I was on the fence about this product after seeing mixed reviews, but we are going to be on an airplane soon and with my daughter not really into walking yet, I wanted something that could help her on the plane - as opposed to crawling around that nasty floor! We've tried this at home and it works great! It's very padded, so that it doesn't seem to cause any discomfort on her. And it allows me to stand up a little straighter, saving my back as well!

My son wants to skip the crawling stage and go straight to walking, to the point he will cry if we put him down to crawl. This product has been great for giving him the amount of time he wants walking. I suffer from a bad back, and could not bend over to hold my child while walking. Walking Wings have helped to alleviate the problem. He still needs to get more balanced, but with this product, I feel that will happen much quicker than without!!

My son was having trouble letting go and walking on his own. After about 3 times with the wings he had the confidence to take off. He is walking everywhere without holding on to anything. I wish I had bought this sooner. It is great!!!

slides up baby's body into underarm, forcing the arms straight up. no matter how much i tightened it, same thing happened after a minute or so. would be better if a harness type strap was added to go thru legs to keep it from slididng up.

First let me start off by saying that I have purchased many items from OneStep and I have been pleasantly pleased with every single item I bought, this not so much. When I saw this I thought it was the coolest apparatus ever! Once I got it I tried using it on my daughter who was just taking steps and walking with assistance. When I put the walking wings on my daughter I was disappointed to say the least, the size of it was way to large for my daughters upper torso and dug right into her armpits making the entire experience of walking unpleasant. I also found the straps to be too short thus I ended up bending forward anyway. I did try to give it another go on a different day and again failure and the wings went back in the box with the receipt and have been in the garage ever since.

I thought this was a great item to purchase because my back and my husband's back were killing us from bending over holding our son's hands while he was learning to walk. This contraption wasn't what I thought it was...a little harder to use than it appears. He got the hang of walking soon enough himself. My opinion - a waste of money for me.

I just opened the box and was shocked to see the new design(not shown in the picture) is much better than what you see here. It has shoulder straps so you are lifting the child above their shoulders so it helps keep them upright. My 7 1/2 month old loves it. My back is thankful!!!

The new model is blue on the outside and striped on the inside.

this is awesome!!!! my 11 month old was taking maybe 10 steps at a time, but after just 3 times using these he got the idea to pull his shoulders back and walk upright. Now he is really walking. around the house I let him go it alone, but am still using this for cruising around the yard,which is full of stickers :( because I can give total slack until he stumbles, then pull him up before he hits the ground. he doesn't seem to mind wearing it a bit. AWESOME! and all without back pain! can't believe no one thought of this earlier! worth every penny!!!

My husband and I were killing our backs holding our sons hands while he wobbled allong. Hunched over like that is the worst thing about helping your child to learn how to walk! Well... not anymore! I saw the Walking Wings and decided to give them a try. It is the best [$] I've EVER spent! Our backs don't hurt and our son can balance better and walk for longer distances! The best part is we can walk along behind him without being in pain! Buy this product!

Love the concept of walking wings, The first time I used it I assumed her arms went through the loops and it slid up under my daughters chin and arm pits and I started to notice her arms lose circulation. Then realized the loops don't go over the arms and works better when the handles are held from under the arms and pulled from behind. This product would be better though if it had a strap that ran between the legs to prevent the belt that goes around the waist from riding up.

This is a great idea, bad design. It needs to come up around shoulders. The way it is designed my son looks like a puppet and I am holding the strings. It is amuzing, but completely inefective.

We liked this. We originally started using it a little early and our son was more like a string puppet. I think its best used once your child has started taking a few good steps before falling down. I think this gave our son the confidence to continue to work hard at walking and soon he wasn't walking but running!

This product works exactly like the description. I put it on my daughter the first day and she wanted to walk everywhere. It really saved my back too. It works a lot better than those big, bulky walkers that my daughter couldn't move. It is definitely worth the money.
