Stuffed animals and finger/hand puppets were everywhere - floor space was at a premium - we needed a solution that did not involve taking up floor space... we bought two of these - one for the each side of the door and put every stuffed animal and pupped into pockets. INSTANT clean floor. Pockets are see through - the kids just point at what they want and we retrieve. Ended up ordering one for each bedroom upstairs, too. Got the stuffed animals and other toys off all the bedroom floors upstairs. Makes cleaning rooms so much easier!!!

The pockets are generosly sized and easy to access. It is sturdily stitched to stand up to tugging. I have it on the back of my mudroom door for my 3 preschoolers to store their hats and mittens in one pocket and scarf in the one above. There is plenty of space to store adult outdoor accessories as well.

Everthing about this organizer is GIANT, including the individual pockets. My 4 yr old girl uses it to store shoes, large size books, stuffed animals, etc. Problems I forsee: So many pockets w/so much space may tempt you to put too many heavy items in organizer. And small kids may pull on this to get things which may (a) tear the fabric, or (b) break the plastic overdoor hangers. These prob's havent occurred w/me. Love the item so far.

It's an easy, simple way to get instant storage space, and it hides well behind doors. Good bargain. I highly recommend.

It's actually a really great organizer! At first, when I took it out to hang it up, I thought it was too big to fit on our closet doors, however, once you start filling the pockets with things, it shrinks in width. The only problem is, the plastic hangers are a little too thick if your doors are hung snugly. But there are other hangers you can use to hang this organizer if need be.

I purchased pocket organizer for my daughter's shoes as a place to store them instead of on her bedroom floor. It fits just right on the back of her door, and some of the pockets are at her level so she can pick out her own shoes that she wants to wear for the day. And, she is able to put them away herself. She thinks that is the COOLEST thing. Plus, she is eager to tell her daddy and I she just did it all by herself!!!!

I like the product, but the plastic hangers that go over the door are too thick. They rub against the door frame and make a lot of noise, especially when I try to close the door and my daughter is sleeping.

I read the reviews before I bought and had the same issue as one other Mom: that the hooks weren't wide enough for the door I wanted to hang it on. I knew that in advance, so I just installed screw-in hooks and it seems to work well so far as an organizer for small things I need to remember as I head out my back door.

I purchased 2 last year, on in my daughter's room and the other in my linen closet. I have a problem that it doesn't stay on right and the closet door has to remain open, because it doesn't close right. I use it for my daughter's shoes, and misc items. In my linen closet I use it for medical items, band aids on bottom, extra toothpaste, brush, shampoo, conditioner and other person items. I like this product not because it doesn't keep the door closed but because it easy and looks decent on the door. I plan on getting another one for my closet.

I bought this for our hall closet. I thought it would be perfect to hold children's hats, shoes, gloves, umbrellas, etc. All those things you want to grab before you leave the house. However the first problem I encountered was with the hooks. They didn't fit over the door which is 1-3/8" thick. I bought some other hooks that looked like the ones that came with the organizer but for thicker doors. These hooks fit over the door but were too thick and the door would not close. I finally was able to find hooks that worked with our door. The 2nd problem I had was with the organizer itself. When I went to hang up the organizer, I found that it was wider than the door, which is 23-3/4" wide, so it just sagged. Needless to say, I was very disappointed that I couldn't use the organizer and will be returning it. Now I see that they have dimensions on the website which I should have checked before ordering.
