I got this crib tent when I discovered my 17 month old wandering around in our dark hallway in the middle of the night. I have used the tent for about 8 months and I am very pleased with it. the mesh is breathable, it is sturdy, and there is NO WAY that she can come out when it is zipped up. She woke up frightened the first time she saw herself in the tent, but she was alright by the second day. It is EXTREMELY uncomfortable to change the sheets! But it's worth the hassle knowing that your toddler is not gonna fall on his/her head trying to climb out. The only suggestion I have for the manufacturer is to make a zipper on both sides of the tent. This would make changing the sheets a lot easier when two people are doing it.

I tried to install this on my sons convertable crib and it did not fit all around. The crib was a couple inches to long so the tent did not sit right. There is also no place to secure the safety ties that go around the top rail of the crib. This will work great for drop down cribs but it was not usefull on the convertable. I was very disapointed that it did not fit. My son is currently a crawler, but he is learning to climb EVERYTHING and this would have made me feel much better knowing that he wouldn't be able to climb out of the crib. Hopefully they will come out with one of these that will fit to convertable cribs. Item will need to be returned.

Our toddler girl is a climber and had climbed out of her crib once. I was unsure if this product would contain her, but it does! The instruction sheet was easy to follow, even with our sleigh bed crib.

I love the idea but my baby keeps waking up at night terrified. Hopefully with time this problem will go away. Set up was easy and it has helped keep her arms and legs from getting stuck in the slats of the crib.

I bought this for my son cause he has sever hemophilia A and he is starting to climb out of his crib and I was scared he would fall out.I would recommend this if your child has hemophilia cause at least u know they are safe you just have to worry about the hard wood in the crib. What i did I put the bumpers in between the tent and the wood bars. The only bad thing it is so so so so so so HARD TO CHANGE THE SHEETS!!. It takes me like 45min to change his sheets cause you have to take the whole thing down

I have a Little climber, so we had to buy a Tent when he was 1 year. The first tent ripped at the Seems when I put in the mattress. I felt that if they made the Tent a little bigger this would not of happened. The second tent the zipper got stuck. But I couldn't live without the Crib Tent. [...]

I was afraid my two year old would think that his new tent was a jail. However after a month, he now zips himself in and is happy at naptime and bedtime. It was easy to assemble and fits well in the crib. Worth every penny!

My son was crawling out of his crib. Of course he wouldn't go to sleep at night or take a nap anymore. Now that we have the crib tent he is back to sleeping through the night and taking a 2 hour nap. This was a really great buy. He seems to love the tent and feels secure in his crib. The poles were a little hard to bend that's why I didn't give it 5 stars, but other than that it was easy to assemble. I'm glad they made this product!!!

I already own this item for my house because my toddler loves to climb in and out of his crib. I recently bought a second one for his grandparent's house because my son got his leg stuck in the bars of his crib. The mesh covers all sides of the crib so this will never happen again. I will buy this item for any future cribs I have. I wish they made this for toddler beds, LOL!

My 5 month old kept rolling himself under the bumper and then put his feet out the side once the bumper was gone just for fun. This keeps his feet in and gives you plenty of room to get him in and out.

This is such a lifesaver. If you have a young toddler who isn't ready for the bed, this is the solution. I have had mine for two years now and it is on its second child. The fabric can rip if you are rough with it, but that is really the only con. I love this thing, it is a wonderful invention. I put it on my daughters crib when she was six months and took the bumper off since they are recommending that you don't use them anymore. It is now preventing my daughters arms and legs from getting stuck, and making sure she doesn't climb out of her crib someday. This is mesh, so you never have to worry about your baby suffocating. You can see in the picture where the fabric has ripped over time, but really it hasn't been that big of a deal.

My daughter (22 months at the time) climbed out of her crib about 5 months ago and fell on her head when she did so. She tried climbing out again the next night as soon as we put her in, so we knew we needed to do something. After reading all of the reviews for the crib tent, I was a bit hesitant because we have a sleigh style crib and some reviews said it wouldn't work with a crib of that style. We really had no other option so I thought I would try it. We really had to stretch the tent to get it to fit on, and one of the ends of the poles doesn't stay over the rail of the crib, but just rests inside of it. But it does the job. I was really worried that it would rip right away because it does seem to be very taught, but 5 months later there are no rips. We then bought another one for her crib at her grandma's, which is a convertible style crib, which other reviews said would not work on a convertible crib. Again, the fit is not perfect; it kind of goes on an angle because the back side of the crib is higher than the front side, but it works. So, my advice is if you have a sleigh crib or convertible crib it is worth trying to buy and see if you can make it work. The piece of mind of knowing that my daughter is not going to climb out and hurt herself is worth the expensive cost of this.
