It took a few days for my daughter to get used to wearing it, she would fuss and try to pull it off. After she finally adjusted she wore it for many hours at a time and it saved her numerous boo boos. I definitely recommend.

This product was great for my son when he was starting to crawl and walk!! We have hardwood and ceramic tile floors in our home. I can't tell you how many times it saved him from hitting his head hard. Even when crawling they are so clumbsy he would fall over sideways and hit his head. This product was a life-saver(litterally). I wish this product was available when my two older children were small.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT, REALLY PREVENT INJURIES IN THE HEAD, I HAVE TWINS AND THEY ARE VERY ACTIVE AND THE BUMBER BONET IS LIGHTWEIGHT, I DONT HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE STANDARD COLOR BONEWHITE WITH BEARS B CUZ I JUST WANT PROTECT MY KIDS.

It seemed like a wonderful idea since my kid is always bumping her head. Unfortunately she will not wear it, so it was a waste of money.

This is not a helmet- it is pretty thin fabric padding. The bonnet caused chaffing as well as not protect much. My child was falling frequently (due to an illness) and this product was useless. It might cushion if you, say, lean back too far in a chair and hit your head, but that is about all.

This is exactly what I needed and wanted. My daughter is 7 mo old. She is crawling, standing, pulling up on everything and trying to walk. We do have carpet in all major rooms, with title in the kitchen and wood in the front rooms. But she is very active and hitting her head all the time. We have tables and chairs and not everything can be put up or removed from a room. She had a few very good size knocks. I did not want to contain her in a play pen and she would not have that anyway. I wanted to make sure she could still explore and grow but be safe.

Yes my family all gave me GRIEF for this. But honestly I do not care. Its not about what anyone says or things. Its about her safety. This propduct helps to cushion they blows and just gives you that extra bit of security.

I received the white one with little bears on it, but honestly I could care less if it was lime green with purple aliens on it. Again, its about her being safe and protecting her head.

She will wear it when she is inside walking about our home and it will be that bit off added safety and security.

I think you have to just not care about any grief that anyone will give you and just do what you feel is best for your child.

I am happy with it and the style and YES IT DOES WORK.

I bought two of these...one for my house and one for grandma's house. It has prevented a lot of bumps and bruises. It does not come in the red color shown. Both of mine were white.

i bought this product for my son when he was 6mon. cuz we lived in a loft where had concrete floor, and could be very slippery. But it didn't work..The weight of this helmet was too heavy and limited his movement by carrying extra weight on his head. He didn't like wearing it either.. :( The idea was great but not very productive.. He also looked like the mushroom character from 'Mario Brothers'!

I bought this product for my child when she started walking. It is very light weight and easy for her to wear. It was handy to have for those first few months of unsteady walking. It's a little hot to wear for too long and after she was steady on her feet we didn't use it.

My daughter is 9 months and learning to walk. She gets upset when she has the bonnet on and pulls it off. [...]. What a waste of money!!!! I got the cream colored bonnet with the teddy bears and I think its an ugly print for a girl.

I bought the bumper bonnett for my 18 month old who already knows how to walk. Reason being because he's just a very active child and he constantly bumps his head! My Goodness I have never seen anything like him. His pediatrician recommended that I get him a helmet because head injuries can be fatal, so the bumper bonnett was perfect because its soft. The only problem I had with this product is the color. I thought I was getting a red one and I got a white one. So it dirties often and my 18 month old doesn't like it, so it takes a lot of patience to get him used to it. Overall I am satisfied and I use the product often.

it really looks silly but it works and has kept us from many, many tears and possibly a trip to the ER or two. easy to put on and my son doesn't even know it is there (well, at least not until my husband starts laughing at him!!). money well spent if you have a little one learning to walk especially if there is an older sibling who wants to "help".

This is an especially fantastic product for any parents who have a house with hardwood, tile, brick, or non carpeted flooring. Our house has a lot of non-carpeted flooring & before having this bonnet I was in total fear that my baby boy would hit his head on the hard surface while trying to stand. Now, the fear is somewhat alleviated knowing that he does have some protection, although, I still watch over him like a hawk. The bonnet I received was a cream color with the cutest little bears. It is soft & my son seems to be very comfortable in it. I can see where it might get warm in summertime, but, I'll just keep it a little cooler in the house. Love that the strap adjusts. This fit my sons head perfectly. Plus, the price is right. Thanks One Step Ahead for providing such a terrific product. [...]

We ordered it because our 7-8 month old would fall often while crawling and trying to walk but the helmet wasnt really thickly padded as described. When he does wear it he cries and wants to take it off since his head seems to heat up in it.Overall its not too bad even though we would have liked it to be more strongly padded.

What a great idea! Our baby doesn't mind having it on her head. The only flaw is it tends to fall forward a bit and needs readjusting, but works the way we need it to, which is to keep her little head safe.
