  • worth it

  • Works great with kids. We've had ours for over 3 years and have not had any problems until now- the middle part where you push through is slightly falling apart, and that's because of usage. But other than that, it's worth the money. We are getting ready to buy another one in the near future.

  • Best on Market

  • This is one of the few screens that actually splits down the middle - most you have to move entire screen. Our dog and cats managed to figure it out just fine. I have bought this screen two times, getting another. It's not supposed to be permanent, that's why it is in the "seasonal" section.

  • did not last

  • Initially we put this up in the front door and the magnets were so strong the kids and the dog pulled the pushpins out of the door frame. This caused the whole thing to come down. We fixed that with some nails and wire staples. The magnets did work well on light breazes and did come back together with little problem. When there was a stong wind the magnets could not hold it together. The dog did go through easily after being shown. When the dog or kids did go through and there was even a light wind the magnets would not always come together. After 3 months of use there were holes in the screen material that we continued to patch. The last issue is when we were bringing in items like groceries, they would catch on the mesh and made it more difficulty than just having a screen door. Good idea but overall not worth the hassel.

  • Does not hold up - Get a tension rod one!

  • I was really hopeful about this screen, but the velcro did not stay put, the tacks did not stay when the children went through the doors a number of times. I was quite disappointed. We had a tension rod one that lasted years. This one only lasted months and left ugly velcro marks on the door lintels.

  • Good/smart product, not for young tots.

  • This product is GREAT for me and my husband and if we had older kids. Our 4 yr old understands to close the top magnet but the 2 yr old pulls it down, doesn't understand closing it. And bugs still get in when closed properly. It's not as tight or sealed up as needs to be. One more magnet and make them longer so it could be held tighter to keep bugs out and a little more Velcro areas. I've had wasp in my house since installing this and it's as tight and is properly installed. Just needs some tweaks to the product.
